Hope

June 19, 2026 · 20 tracks · 2 hrs 16 mins

Hope is not wishful thinking. It is not a sentiment or a feeling contingent on circumstances. Biblical hope is a confident expectation, an anchor for the soul, sure and steadfast, rooted in the character of God, secured by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and alive in the hearts of those who trust Him.

HOPE is part of the Resonance Worship Series by Resonate the Word, a full-album musical journey through the biblical narrative of hope from the garden of Eden to the New Jerusalem. Across twenty original songs, the album traces the unbroken thread of God's faithfulness woven through creation, covenant, suffering, redemption, and glory. It is not a collection of feel-good anthems. It is an honest, worshipful reckoning with what hope truly is: hard-won, Spirit-sustained, and eternally grounded in Jesus.

The songs follow the Bible chronologically, beginning with God's very first promise of restoration in the garden and ending with the final cry of Scripture: "Come, Lord Jesus." In between, we walk with Abraham trusting the impossible, Joseph enduring betrayal and the pit, Israel crossing the Red Sea, the psalmists crying out in both anguish and praise, Isaiah proclaiming a suffering servant who would carry our grief, Jeremiah weeping in the ruins yet declaring mercies new every morning, and Ezekiel watching dry bones come alive again by the breath of God.

Then the hope becomes flesh. We encounter Jesus in the New Testament: the Light of the World stepping into darkness, a desperate woman made whole by touching the hem of His garment, a prodigal son running home to a waiting father, and a grieving sister hearing the most astonishing words ever spoken: "I am the resurrection and the life." We stand at the cross where every sin was paid for, and then at an empty tomb where death itself was defeated.

The Spirit comes at Pentecost. Paul declares that nothing can separate us from the love of God, urges us not to be anxious but to bring everything to God in prayer, and tells us to press on, fix our eyes on Jesus, and run the race with endurance. And then, at last, the final vision: a new heaven and new earth, God dwelling with His people, every tear wiped away, all things made new.

HOPE spans multiple musical styles, including traditional hymns, contemporary worship, gospel, blues, rock, folk, hip-hop, and cinematic orchestral, because the people who need this message span every walk of life, every genre, and every age. The music adapts. The message does not. Whether you are in a season of waiting, grieving, doubting, fighting, or celebrating, this album is for you.

This is not a message of easy answers. It is a message of an unshakeable God.

That is our hope.

"We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure." - Hebrews 6:19

    Genesis 1:1, 3:15; Romans 5:8; Revelation 13:8

    Lyrics

Before the stars were hung in place Before the sun had learned to rise Before the first breath filled the earth You held the rescue in Your eyes You spoke and light broke through the dark You breathed and life began to stir And in the garden when we fell Your love already had the cure For You have always been the Author Of every story, every page And even in the deepest darkness Your hope was written for this age In the beginning hope was born Before the foundations of the world You knew the name of every wanderer You knew the story would unfold The seed of the woman, the promise spoken The serpent's head would be undone In the beginning hope was born In the beginning hope was born The enemy thought he had won When shame and death broke through the gate But Love had spoken in the garden A promise stronger than our fate A Savior rising from the woman A Rescuer to crush the lie The Lamb was slain before creation So hope would never truly die For You have always been the Author Of every story, every page And even in the deepest darkness Your hope was written for this age In the beginning hope was born Before the foundations of the world You knew the name of every wanderer You knew the story would unfold The seed of the woman, the promise spoken The serpent's head would be undone In the beginning hope was born In the beginning hope was born From Adam down through every exile The thread of grace ran straight and sure Through flood and famine, fire and silence Your promise held, Your Word endured And now we stand on this side of it The promise kept, the Savior here The One who was and is forever Has made the way through death and fear For You have always been the Author Of every story, every page And even in the deepest darkness Your hope was written for this age In the beginning hope was born Before the foundations of the world You knew the name of every wanderer You knew the story would unfold The seed of the woman, the promise spoken The serpent's head would be undone In the beginning hope was born In the beginning hope was born From Genesis to Revelation The story bends toward Your good end And every soul that calls on Jesus Will find in You a faithful Friend From Genesis to Revelation The story bends toward Your good end And every soul that calls on Jesus Will find in You a faithful Friend In the beginning hope was born Before the foundations of the world You knew the name of every wanderer You knew the story would unfold The seed of the woman, the promise spoken The serpent's head was finally undone In the beginning hope was born In You the victory has been won In the beginning Hope was born

    Lyrics

He heard a voice that called him out From everything that he had known Leave your land, your kin, your father's house And walk toward a place I'll show He didn't know the road ahead He couldn't see where he would land But something in that holy voice Was worth the letting go of his own plans Father of nations, a man of faith Who hoped against hope and believed Your name You counted it as righteousness When nothing in the world made sense Father of nations, teach us to trust The way that Abraham trusted You with us When the promise seems too far to see Let faith be enough, let faith be enough The stars came out and God said look Can you count them, every one That's how many children you will have Though your body's nearly done Sarah laughed inside the tent The math just didn't add up right But God was not constrained by age He who calls the stars can author life Father of nations, a man of faith Who hoped against hope and believed Your name You counted it as righteousness When nothing in the world made sense Father of nations, teach us to trust The way that Abraham trusted You with us When the promise seems too far to see Let faith be enough, let faith be enough And so he waited, year on year On a promise that had not yet come And every sleepless night he chose To believe the Lord is never done Isaac came and filled their arms The child of laughter, gift of grace A God who keeps impossible vows Has written covenant all over our days Father of nations, a man of faith Who hoped against hope and believed Your name You counted it as righteousness When nothing in the world made sense Father of nations, teach us to trust The way that Abraham trusted You with us When the promise seems too far to see Let faith be enough, let faith be enough We are children of that promise now Through Jesus, heirs of what was sworn Every blessing sworn to Abraham Was carried in the Savior born So when the road ahead goes dark And the answer takes too long to come We lift our eyes to the star-filled sky And we hold to the Word of the Faithful One Father of nations, a man of faith Who hoped against hope and believed Your name You counted it as righteousness When nothing in the world made sense Father of nations, teach us to trust The way that Abraham trusted You with us When the promise seems too far to see Let faith be enough, let faith be enough Against all hope, he believed He did not waver in unbelief He gave glory to God, fully persuaded That what God had promised He was able Against all hope, he believed He did not waver in unbelief He gave glory to God, fully persuaded That what God had promised He would do Let faith be enough Let faith be enough

Even in the Pit (Joseph's Song)

    Genesis 37:3-4, 23-24, 28; 39:20-23; 45:4-8; 50:20

    Lyrics

They stripped me of my coat of many colors They threw me in a pit and walked away My brothers sat and ate while I was crying And sold my life for twenty pieces of pay I ended up a slave in Egypt's household Then falsely charged and locked up in a cell No way to see what God was writing through it No eyes to see the story He would tell But even in the darkest of the dark places A lamp was burning that I could not see And every door that closed was only setting The stage for something greater yet to be Even in the pit God was with me Even in the prison He was there When the road went down through betrayal and silence He was writing something holy in despair You meant it for evil but God meant it for good He was working out a plan I never understood Even in the pit God was with me Even in the pit He never left The cupbearer forgot the dreams I'd given And two more years went by inside that place But in the sovereignty of God the Father Not a single wasted hour, not a wasted day Then Pharaoh had a dream that no one answered And suddenly my name came to his lips And in one morning everything was different What men meant for evil, God used for His gift Even in the darkest of the dark places A lamp was burning that I could not see And every door that closed was only setting The stage for something greater yet to be Even in the pit God was with me Even in the prison He was there When the road went down through betrayal and silence He was writing something holy in despair You meant it for evil but God meant it for good He was working out a plan I never understood Even in the pit God was with me Even in the pit He never left When my brothers came before me hungry I could see the fear behind their eyes But the love of God had moved me past the bitterness And forgiveness rose where anger used to lie It was not you who sent me here but heaven God intended this to save your lives What you did in darkness God has used for glory And the whole earth gets to eat because of God's design Even in the darkest of the dark places A lamp was burning that I could not see And every door that closed was only setting The stage for something greater yet to be Even in the pit God was with me Even in the prison He was there When the road went down through betrayal and silence He was writing something holy in despair You meant it for evil but God meant it for good He was working out a plan I never understood Even in the pit God was with me Even in the pit He never left If you are in the pit right now And you can't see the way out Hold on, hold on, hold on God has not forgotten you If you are in the prison of your suffering And the answer has not come Hold on, hold on, hold on God is working something good Hold on, hold on, the morning is coming Hold on, hold on, He is faithful through it all Hold on, hold on, what the enemy intended God will use it for His glory God will use it for His glory Even in the pit God was with me Even in the prison He was there When the road went down through betrayal and silence He was writing something holy in despair You meant it for evil but God meant it for good He was working out a plan I never understood Even in the pit God was with me Even in the pit He never left Even in the pit Even in the pit He never left

    Exodus 14:13-14, 21-22; 15:1-2, 13; Isaiah 43:2, 16-19

    Lyrics

They stood with water on the right An army at their backs on the left Every human answer had run out Every earthly option had been checked And Moses raised his hands and said Do not be afraid, just stand and see The Lord will fight for you today You only need to trust and believe When the walls close in and the waters rise When the enemy is at your heels This is where our God shows up the most This is where His power is revealed He makes a way, He makes a way Where there is no way He opens up the sea He makes a way, He makes a way The God who split the waters fights for me Through the fire and through the flood He carries us by His unending love He makes a way, He makes a way My God makes a way The waters parted by the east wind A wall of water on both sides Two million souls walked through on dry ground With the presence of God as their guide The army chased them through the passage But the sea came crashing down again And every soul that trusted heaven Saw the faithfulness of God that day When the walls close in and the waters rise When the enemy is at your heels This is where our God shows up the most This is where His power is revealed He makes a way, He makes a way Where there is no way He opens up the sea He makes a way, He makes a way The God who split the waters fights for me Through the fire and through the flood He carries us by His unending love He makes a way, He makes a way My God makes a way The prophet spoke it in the exile Forget the former things, behold I'm doing something new among you A road through wilderness, water in the cold When you pass through the raging rivers They will not sweep over your head When you walk through the fires of trial You will not be burned for I've gone ahead When the walls close in and the waters rise When the enemy is at your heels This is where our God shows up the most This is where His power is revealed He makes a way, He makes a way Where there is no way He opens up the sea He makes a way, He makes a way The God who split the waters fights for me Through the fire and through the flood He carries us by His unending love He makes a way, He makes a way My God makes a way The LORD is my strength and my song He has become my salvation The LORD is my strength and my song He has become my salvation Stand still and see, He is fighting for you Stand still and see, the victory is true Stand still and see, He is fighting for you Do not fear, the LORD is going through He makes a way, He makes a way Where there is no way He opens up the sea He makes a way, He makes a way The God who split the waters fights for me Through the fire and through the flood He carries us by His unending love He makes a way, He makes a way My God makes a way He makes a way My God makes a way

    Lyrics

I have run until my legs gave out beneath me I have prayed until the words have all run dry I have waited in the dark and tried to hold on But the waiting is the part that breaks you every time And I know You are not limited like I am And I know Your eyes have never left my frame But the distance between what I feel and what I know Is the valley where I'm calling out Your name But You said that You would never grow weary You said that You would never faint or fall So I come again with empty hands before You And I wait upon the One who holds it all Wait on the Lord, wait on the Lord He gives power to the faint and strength to the weak Wait on the Lord, wait on the Lord He will lift you up on wings you cannot see Those who hope in Him will not grow weary They will run and they will not fall down Wait on the Lord, wait on the Lord He is faithful, He is faithful, He is found Do not fear for I have called you by your name You are Mine and I will never let you go When you pass through the raging rivers do not tremble I will be the floor beneath your trembling soul Have you not heard, have you not known That the God who flung the stars in place Has not forgotten you in your exhaustion He is near to you in this relentless waiting space He said He would never grow weary He said that He would never faint or fall So we come again with empty hands before Him And we wait upon the One who holds it all Wait on the Lord, wait on the Lord He gives power to the faint and strength to the weak Wait on the Lord, wait on the Lord He will lift you up on wings you cannot see Those who hope in Him will not grow weary They will run and they will not fall down Wait on the Lord, wait on the Lord He is faithful, He is faithful, He is found There are seasons that will ask you for more courage Than you think you have the strength to give There are nights when it feels like God is silent But His silence is not absence, He still lives For the everlasting God, the great Creator Does not tire of the sparrow or the soul And the ones who wait with open hands before Him Will be given strength they never could have known He said He would never grow weary He said that He would never faint or fall So we come again with empty hands before Him And we wait upon the One who holds it all Wait on the Lord, wait on the Lord He gives power to the faint and strength to the weak Wait on the Lord, wait on the Lord He will lift you up on wings you cannot see Those who hope in Him will not grow weary They will run and they will not fall down Wait on the Lord, wait on the Lord He is faithful, He is faithful, He is found Fear not, He says, for I am with you Do not be dismayed, I am your God I will strengthen and I will help you I will hold you with My righteous hand Fear not, He says, for I am with you Do not be dismayed, I am your God I will strengthen and I will help you I will hold you with My righteous hand Wait on the Lord, wait on the Lord He gives power to the faint and strength to the weak Wait on the Lord, wait on the Lord He will lift you up on wings you cannot see Those who hope in Him will not grow weary They will run and they will not fall down Wait on the Lord, wait on the Lord He is faithful, He is faithful, He is found He is faithful Wait on the Lord He is found

The people walking in the darkness Have seen a great and shining light For those who dwell in deepest shadow A dawn has broken through the night For centuries they held the promise A child would come, a Son would reign The government upon His shoulders The Prince of Peace would speak His name And heaven could not wait a moment longer And love put on the form of flesh The Word was made and dwelt among us And we beheld His glory, full of grace Light has come, Emmanuel God has come to dwell with us Light has come, the darkness cannot hold For the Word became flesh and the world was told Glory to God in the highest place Peace on earth and unending grace Light has come, Emmanuel God is with us, God is with us The angels filled the sky with glory Above the fields where shepherds lay Do not be afraid, they cried out For today a Savior has been born today He is Christ the Lord, the Messiah Go and find Him wrapped in cloth In the manger of a stable The God of all creation wrapped in love And heaven could not wait a moment longer And love put on the form of flesh The Word was made and dwelt among us And we beheld His glory, full of grace Light has come, Emmanuel God has come to dwell with us Light has come, the darkness cannot hold For the Word became flesh and the world was told Glory to God in the highest place Peace on earth and unending grace Light has come, Emmanuel God is with us, God is with us Wonderful, Counselor, the Mighty God Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace The people walking under Galilee's shadow Saw the Light they'd waited years to see In Him was life and that life was the light of men The darkness has not and cannot overcome The tender mercy of our God has visited us The rising sun that shines for everyone And heaven could not wait a moment longer And love put on the form of flesh The Word was made and dwelt among us And we beheld His glory, full of grace Light has come, Emmanuel God has come to dwell with us Light has come, the darkness cannot hold For the Word became flesh and the world was told Glory to God in the highest place Peace on earth and unending grace Light has come, Emmanuel God is with us, God is with us Emmanuel, God with us Emmanuel, God with us You came to seek and save the lost You came to pay the highest cost Emmanuel, God with us Emmanuel, God with us Emmanuel, God with us Emmanuel, God with us The hope of all the ages here You drove away our every fear Emmanuel, God with us Emmanuel, God with us Light has come, Emmanuel God has come to dwell with us Light has come, the darkness cannot hold For the Word became flesh and the world was told Glory to God in the highest place Peace on earth and unending grace Light has come, Emmanuel God is with us God is with us God is with us Emmanuel God with us Light has come

Blessed are the ones who know they have nothing to bring Whose hands are empty and whose hearts have run out Blessed are the poor in spirit, broken and low For the kingdom of heaven is for them without doubt Blessed are the ones who mourn in the dark Who have wept until the weeping wore them thin Blessed are the grieving, the shattered in heart For the Comforter of comfort will come in Blessed are the broken Blessed are the lost Blessed are the ones who know they need a Savior No matter what it costs The kingdom comes to the humble The meek will inherit the earth Blessed are the broken For in the hands of Jesus They'll discover what they're worth Blessed are the gentle, the ones who step aside Who don't need to fight for a seat at the table Blessed are the ones who hunger and thirst For righteousness only, not what they are able Blessed are the merciful, who let offenses go Who pour out on others what they themselves need Blessed are the pure in heart who follow one thing For they alone will see the face of God indeed Blessed are the broken Blessed are the lost Blessed are the ones who know they need a Savior No matter what it costs The kingdom comes to the humble The meek will inherit the earth Blessed are the broken For in the hands of Jesus They'll discover what they're worth Blessed are the peacemakers, the bridge-builders brave Who step into the middle of the fire Who look like the Son in a world full of war Blessed, for they are called children of the Father Blessed are the persecuted, hated and scorned For the sake of the righteousness they own Great is their reward in the kingdom of heaven Rejoice and be glad, you are not alone Blessed are the broken Blessed are the lost Blessed are the ones who know they need a Savior No matter what it costs The kingdom comes to the humble The meek will inherit the earth Blessed are the broken For in the hands of Jesus They'll discover what they're worth The Spirit of the Lord has come upon me He has sent me to the poor and the oppressed To bind up the broken hearts, to proclaim the freedom And to place on all who mourn a crown of grace So come you who are weary and heavy laden Come you who are mourning in the night For Jesus is the Servant sent to heal you And the broken are the ones He calls to light Blessed are the broken Blessed are the lost Blessed are the ones who know they need a Savior No matter what it costs The kingdom comes to the humble The meek will inherit the earth Blessed are the broken For in the hands of Jesus They'll discover what they're worth Rejoice and be glad Rejoice and be glad Your reward is great in heaven Rejoice and be glad Rejoice and be glad Rejoice and be glad The one who sees you broken Calls you blessed Calls you blessed Blessed are the broken Blessed are the lost You'll discover what you're worth

    Lyrics

Twelve long years and still the bleeding won't stop Twelve long years and I have spent everything I got Every doctor, every remedy, every coin I owned And instead of getting better I have only grown more worn I have heard there is a Healer passing through today A crowd of people pressing in along the way I may never make it to Him face to face But if I touch the hem of His garment I'll be saved Reach out and touch Him Just reach out and touch the hem of His robe When you've run out of answers When you've tried every road He is passing by right now Don't let Him pass you by Reach out and touch Him Just reach out and touch the Lord She pressed through the crowd from behind with a trembling hand She told herself if I could just touch where He stands She didn't even ask for His attention in the crowd But the moment that she touched Him power went out from Him He stopped and said, who touched Me, who was it In the middle of a pressing crowded road And she came and fell before Him scared and shaking And told Him all the truth about her broken soul Reach out and touch Him Just reach out and touch the hem of His robe When you've run out of answers When you've tried every road He is passing by right now Don't let Him pass you by Reach out and touch Him Just reach out and touch the Lord And Jesus stopped and looked at her and said to her Daughter, your faith has made you well, be at peace Go in peace from this suffering that bound you For twelve long years the chains have been released He called her Daughter, not a burden or a bother Not an interruption in His important day In the crowd of many thousands pressing in around Him He saw her and He knew her name Reach out and touch Him Just reach out and touch the hem of His robe When you've run out of answers When you've tried every road He is passing by right now Don't let Him pass you by Reach out and touch Him Just reach out and touch the Lord We have a High Priest who has felt all our weakness Who was tempted in every way that we are tried He is not too good or grand to be our Healer He is near enough to touch, He's not too high So approach the throne of grace with confidence and boldness Find mercy there and grace to help in time of need He is not too busy, He will never be inconvenienced By the desperate and the broken and the bleeding Reach out and touch Him Just reach out and touch the hem of His robe When you've run out of answers When you've tried every road He is passing by right now Don't let Him pass you by Reach out and touch Him Just reach out and touch the Lord Who touched Me, who touched Me Power went out from Me, who touched Me I was in the crowd of thousands I was desperate and ashamed But He called me out to bless me He called me Daughter by my name Who touched Me, who touched Me Power went out from Me, who touched Me Whatever you have been through However long you've had to wait There is healing in His presence Just reach out, it's not too late Come to the hem of His robe She touched it and was made whole Don't let Him pass you by

Come Home (The Father Is Waiting)

    Luke 15:11-32; Romans 8:38-39; 1 John 4:19

    Lyrics

He took his share of his inheritance early And headed out to find the good life on his own He spent it all on everything that promised That this world would finally feel like home He ended up in a stranger's field at harvest time So far gone he nearly lost his name And sitting in the dirt he finally came to thinking Maybe I could go back home again He said I'll rise and go back to my father And I'll say I am not worthy to be called your son Just take me as a hired hand, I'll work here For any mercy shown to me Come home, the Father is waiting He saw you while you were still a long way off Come home, He's running toward you The past behind you is already forgiven and gone There's a robe and a ring for the returning There's a feast being laid out tonight Come home, the Father is waiting And the door has been open all the time He rose and started back the way he'd come from Rehearsing every word he meant to say But the father saw him while he was still far out And he ran down that dusty road that day He threw his arms around the neck of his lost son He kissed his face and held him close and tight The boy said Father I am not worthy of your title But the father said bring the ring and robe tonight He said bring the finest robe and put it on him And put a ring upon his hand and shoes upon his feet Kill the fattened calf and let the feast start For my son who was lost is found, was dead and now lives Come home, the Father is waiting He saw you while you were still a long way off Come home, He's running toward you The past behind you is already forgiven and gone There's a robe and a ring for the returning There's a feast being laid out tonight Come home, the Father is waiting And the door has been open all the time Maybe you've been in a far and distant country Spending everything on things that couldn't last Maybe shame has kept you sitting in the pigpen Thinking you've gone too far into the past Nothing in this world can separate you from Him Not the roads you've taken or the things you've done The Father loved you first and He's still waiting He's watching for His wandering child to come So rise and go back to your Father You are still a child, that has not changed And every step you take toward His embrace He meets you more than halfway Come home, the Father is waiting He saw you while you were still a long way off Come home, He's running toward you The past behind you is already forgiven and gone There's a robe and a ring for the returning There's a feast being laid out tonight Come home, the Father is waiting And the door has been open all the time He loved us first, before we ever loved Him He loved us first, while we were far away He loves us still, and nothing in creation Can take that love from us at any day He loved us first, before we ever loved Him He loved us first, while we were far away He loves us still, and nothing in creation Can take that love from us at any day Come home, the Father is waiting He saw you while you were still a long way off Come home, He's running toward you The past behind you is already forgiven and gone There's a robe and a ring for the returning There's a feast being laid out tonight Come home, the Father is waiting And the door has been open all the time Come home The Father is waiting Come home

    John 11:17-27, 43-44; 14:1-3; 1 Corinthians 15:20-22; Revelation 1:17-18

    Lyrics

He waited four days till Lazarus was buried Till hope itself lay wrapped in burial cloth And still He came to where the mourning gathered And still He loved them though they thought all was lost Martha met Him on the road with grief and questions Lord if You had come he wouldn't have been dead But Jesus stopped and looked at her and answered her With the most audacious words that have been said He said do you believe this Whoever lives and believes in Me Though they die they shall live I am the answer to your greatest grief I am the resurrection and the life Whoever believes in Me will never die I hold the keys of death and of the grave I am the first and last and I will save Death could not hold Me and it cannot hold The ones who trust their lives within My hands I am the resurrection and the life Death has no power over those in Christ He stood before the tomb of His beloved friend He groaned in spirit, and the tears ran down His face The shortest verse in Scripture tells us plainly That the God of all creation wept in grief Then He prayed and cried out in a voice of power Lazarus, come out, and the dead man heard He walked out of the tomb still wrapped in grave clothes Alive because of Jesus and His word He said do you believe this Whoever lives and believes in Me Though they die they shall live I am the answer to your greatest grief I am the resurrection and the life Whoever believes in Me will never die I hold the keys of death and of the grave I am the first and last and I will save Death could not hold Me and it cannot hold The ones who trust their lives within My hands I am the resurrection and the life Death has no power over those in Christ He said let not your heart be troubled or afraid Believe in God and also now believe in Me I go to prepare a place for you, My children And where I am there you will also be Christ has been raised as the firstfruits of the dead As by one man came death for all who fell By One Man comes the resurrection of the dead And all who are in Christ shall live as well He said do you believe this Whoever lives and believes in Me Though they die they shall live I am the answer to your greatest grief I am the resurrection and the life Whoever believes in Me will never die I hold the keys of death and of the grave I am the first and last and I will save Death could not hold Me and it cannot hold The ones who trust their lives within My hands I am the resurrection and the life Death has no power over those in Christ Do not be afraid, I am the First and Last I am the Living One, I was dead and now I live And I hold the keys of death and Hades in My hands I hold the keys, I hold the keys Do not be afraid, I am the First and Last I am the Living One, I was dead and now I live And I hold the keys of death and Hades in My hands Every grave will open at My voice Every grave will open at My voice I am the resurrection and the life Whoever believes in Me will never die I hold the keys of death and of the grave I am the first and last and I will save Death could not hold Me and it cannot hold The ones who trust their lives within My hands I am the resurrection and the life Death has no power over those in Christ Death has no power over those in Christ I am the resurrection I am the life Life

    Lyrics

He was despised and rejected by the many A man of sorrow, well acquainted with grief We hid our faces and we would not look upon Him We said His suffering had nothing to do with me But He has borne our griefs, He carried our sorrows We thought Him stricken and afflicted by God He was wounded for the sins that we committed He was crushed for our iniquities before the Lord The punishment that purchased all our peace Was laid upon the shoulders of the Son And by the wounds that they put on His body Our healing was accomplished and was done It is finished, the price has been paid God demonstrated His love in this way While we were still sinners Christ died for us And the wrath that we owed was absorbed in His blood Justice and mercy were kissed on that hill And peace with the Father was purchased and sealed It is finished, it is finished Paid in full He was mocked and beaten, crowned with thorns of cruelty He carried the cross that the guilty man should bear He was nailed between two criminals in public The Son of God surrendered and laid bare He said I thirst and then He bowed His head And with one final breath He cried it loud Tetelestai, it is done, it is completed The debt of all our sin was spoken out The punishment that purchased all our peace Was laid upon the shoulders of the Son And by the wounds that they put on His body Our healing was accomplished and was done It is finished, the price has been paid God demonstrated His love in this way While we were still sinners Christ died for us And the wrath that we owed was absorbed in His blood Justice and mercy were kissed on that hill And peace with the Father was purchased and sealed It is finished, it is finished Paid in full He Himself bore our sins in His own body Up on the tree of shame for all to see That we might die to sin and live to righteousness By His wounds, by His wounds we have been healed Now since we have been justified by His blood We have peace with God through Jesus Christ the Lord We boast in hope of the glory yet before us Because the cross has opened up the door The punishment that purchased all our peace Was laid upon the shoulders of the Son And by the wounds that they put on His body Our healing was accomplished and was done It is finished, the price has been paid God demonstrated His love in this way While we were still sinners Christ died for us And the wrath that we owed was absorbed in His blood Justice and mercy were kissed on that hill And peace with the Father was purchased and sealed It is finished, it is finished Paid in full For the joy set before Him He endured the cross Scorning all its shame He endured the loss And sat down at the right hand Of the throne of God Now the path is open Through the blood of Christ For the joy set before Him He endured the cross Scorning all its shame He endured the loss We are that joy We are that joy He endured the cross for us We are that joy It is finished, the price has been paid God demonstrated His love in this way While we were still sinners Christ died for us And the wrath that we owed was absorbed in His blood Justice and mercy were kissed on that hill And peace with the Father was purchased and sealed It is finished, it is finished Paid in full It is finished Paid in full It is finished It is finished Paid in full

    Matthew 28:1-7; Mark 16:1-8; 1 Corinthians 15:20, 54-57; Romans 6:4-5; Colossians 2:15

    Lyrics

Early in the morning at the break of dawn Two women came to find the stone had been moved on An angel sat upon it shining white as snow And told them what the whole of heaven already knows He is not here, He told you He would rise Go tell His disciples, tell them He's alive He has gone before you up to Galilee The One they crucified is risen, He is free Death tried to keep Him in the ground Hell thought it finally had Him down But on the third day the earth shook and the stone was found Rolled away, rolled away The stone was rolled away, the grave couldn't hold Him The stone was rolled away, death couldn't own Him He rose up on the third day just like He said The stone was rolled away, Jesus is not dead Where is your sting, O death, where is your victory The grave has been defeated, Christ has set us free The stone was rolled away, the stone was rolled away He is risen, He is risen, He is risen today Christ has been raised as the firstfruits of the dead The guarantee of everything He said The resurrection body that He now enjoys Will be given to His children, death destroyed If we have been united with Him in His death Then we will also share in what He has done next A new creation standing on the other side Because the Living One was buried and then He rose to life Death tried to keep Him in the ground Hell thought it finally had Him down But on the third day the earth shook and the stone was found Rolled away, rolled away The stone was rolled away, the grave couldn't hold Him The stone was rolled away, death couldn't own Him He rose up on the third day just like He said The stone was rolled away, Jesus is not dead Where is your sting, O death, where is your victory The grave has been defeated, Christ has set us free The stone was rolled away, the stone was rolled away He is risen, He is risen, He is risen today He disarmed the powers and authorities He made a public spectacle of them openly Triumphing over all of them upon the cross And proving it three days later death was lost The perishable must put on the imperishable The mortal must put on immortality Then the saying that was written will be swallowed up Death is swallowed up in God's great victory Death tried to keep Him in the ground Hell thought it finally had Him down But on the third day the earth shook and the stone was found Rolled away, rolled away The stone was rolled away, the grave couldn't hold Him The stone was rolled away, death couldn't own Him He rose up on the third day just like He said The stone was rolled away, Jesus is not dead Where is your sting, O death, where is your victory The grave has been defeated, Christ has set us free The stone was rolled away, the stone was rolled away He is risen, He is risen, He is risen today Where O death is your victory now Where O death is your sting right now Thanks be to God who gives us the victory Through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Where O death is your victory now Where O death is your sting right now Thanks be to God who gives us the victory Through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ He is risen, He is risen He is risen from the dead He is risen, He is risen Just like He said, just like He said He is risen, He is risen He is risen from the dead He is risen, He is risen Just like He said, just like He said The stone was rolled away, the grave couldn't hold Him The stone was rolled away, death couldn't own Him He rose up on the third day just like He said The stone was rolled away, Jesus is not dead Where is your sting, O death, where is your victory The grave has been defeated, Christ has set us free The stone was rolled away, the stone was rolled away He is risen, He is risen, He is risen today He is risen today He is risen today He is risen today He is risen

    Peace That Passes Understanding

    Philippians 4:4-7; Colossians 3:15; John 14:27; Isaiah 26:3

    Lyrics

It's three in the morning and the thoughts won't stop Every worst-case scenario playing on repeat You've been rehearsing the disaster you can't stop And sleep is just another thing you cannot reach But there is a word written down for nights like this one When the worry takes the place of what you know A word from prison written by a man in chains Who had more reason to despair than most of us can show He said do not be anxious about anything at all But in every situation let your prayers be known to God With thanksgiving and with petition, bring it all before Him And then watch what happens when you let it go The peace of God, the peace that passes understanding Will stand guard over your heart and over your mind The peace of God, surpassing all your comprehension Is a gift that Jesus left for you to find Not like the world gives does He give His peace to you Let not your heart be troubled and let it not be afraid The peace of God, the peace that passes understanding Is yours in Christ, is yours today Think about what's true and what is noble Think about what's right and what is pure Think about whatever things are lovely And whatever things are worthy of good report Let the peace of Christ stand as the referee Rule and arbitrate inside your heart For God you called us to His peace in one body And His peace can be the place from which you start He said do not be anxious about anything at all But in every situation let your prayers be known to God With thanksgiving and with petition, bring it all before Him And then watch what happens when you let it go The peace of God, the peace that passes understanding Will stand guard over your heart and over your mind The peace of God, surpassing all your comprehension Is a gift that Jesus left for you to find Not like the world gives does He give His peace to you Let not your heart be troubled and let it not be afraid The peace of God, the peace that passes understanding Is yours in Christ, is yours today You will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed On You, because that soul has learned to trust Your name For You are the everlasting God, the Rock eternal And leaning on Your Word will never bring us shame So cast all of your anxiety upon Him Because He cares for you, He cares for you, He cares And the God of peace who is beyond all of our reasoning Will meet you in the middle of your prayers He said do not be anxious about anything at all But in every situation let your prayers be known to God With thanksgiving and with petition, bring it all before Him And then watch what happens when you let it go The peace of God, the peace that passes understanding Will stand guard over your heart and over your mind The peace of God, surpassing all your comprehension Is a gift that Jesus left for you to find Not like the world gives does He give His peace to you Let not your heart be troubled and let it not be afraid The peace of God, the peace that passes understanding Is yours in Christ, is yours today Rejoice in the Lord always And again I say rejoice Rejoice in the Lord always And again I say rejoice The Lord is near, the Lord is near Do not be afraid The Lord is near, the Lord is near Bring it all before Him Bring it all before Him And let His peace stand guard Rejoice in the Lord always And again I say rejoice Rejoice in the Lord always And again I say rejoice The peace of God, the peace that passes understanding Will stand guard over your heart and over your mind The peace of God, surpassing all your comprehension Is a gift that Jesus left for you to find Not like the world gives does He give His peace to you Let not your heart be troubled and let it not be afraid The peace of God, the peace that passes understanding Is yours in Christ, is yours today

I have not arrived yet, I have not yet obtained I haven't crossed the finish line, there's still more to be gained But I press on to take hold of the reason Christ Jesus Took hold of me and called me by His name Forgetting what is behind me, straining toward what's ahead I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call I'm not sitting in the rubble of my failures or my glory I'm locked in on the finish, I am giving it my all So do you not know that in a race all runners run But only one receives the prize that waits at the end Well we run this race to win it, we run this race to get the prize And we run it with our eyes fixed on Him Press on, fix your eyes on Jesus The Author and Perfector of our faith Who for the joy set before Him endured the cross And sat down at the right hand full of grace Strip off everything that hinders The sin that so easily entangles you Press on, run with endurance the race set before you Fix your eyes, fix your eyes on the truth Consider Him who endured such hostility So you will not grow weary and give up the fight A great cloud of witnesses surrounds you right now Every saint who ran before you is watching tonight Paul said I have fought the good fight to the end I have finished the race and I have kept the faith Now there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness That the Lord the righteous judge will give that day Not just to me but to everyone who loves The appearing of the One who is to come So you better know your calling and you better keep on running Till the battle has been fought and the race has been won Press on, fix your eyes on Jesus The Author and Perfector of our faith Who for the joy set before Him endured the cross And sat down at the right hand full of grace Strip off everything that hinders The sin that so easily entangles you Press on, run with endurance the race set before you Fix your eyes, fix your eyes on the truth There are days you want to quit because the road is long There are nights the only prayer you have is God hold on There are seasons in the valley when the peak seems far And the weight of what you're carrying has left its scars But you are surrounded by a host who has gone before Who ran through every trial that you are running through So lay aside the weight and the sin that clings so closely And trust that what they finished, you can finish too The same Spirit that sustained them walks beside you now The same grace that held the martyrs holds your frame The same Jesus who is seated intercedes for you You will make it to the finish in His name Press on, fix your eyes on Jesus The Author and Perfector of our faith Who for the joy set before Him endured the cross And sat down at the right hand full of grace Strip off everything that hinders The sin that so easily entangles you Press on, run with endurance the race set before you Fix your eyes, fix your eyes on the truth Who are we running to Jesus, we're running to Jesus Who holds us when we fall Jesus, Jesus holds us all What are we fixing our eyes on Jesus, we're fixing our eyes on Jesus Who is the prize at the end Jesus, Jesus is the end We will not quit We will not quit We will not quit We fix our eyes We will press on We will press on We will press on We fix our eyes Through every trial Through every night We will run this race We will finish the fight We will not quit We will not quit We will press on and we will fix our eyes Press on, fix your eyes on Jesus The Author and Perfector of our faith Who for the joy set before Him endured the cross And sat down at the right hand full of grace Strip off everything that hinders The sin that so easily entangles you Press on, run with endurance the race set before you Fix your eyes, fix your eyes on the truth Fix your eyes, fix your eyes Fix your eyes on Jesus Fix your eyes on Jesus
